Boyuan begins new US $44.3 million construction project
- Represents Boyuan's largest contract value to date -
TORONTO, July 15 /CNW/ - Boyuan Construction Group, Inc., (TSX: BOY & BOY.DB) a fast-growing construction company in China of commercial, residential and municipal infrastructure projects, announced today that it has initiated the building of a residential project on Hainan Island valued at US $44.3 million. The project, which will encompass 150,000 square meters, represents Boyuan's largest contract value for a single development to date.
"Construction projects continue unabated in a number of regions throughout China, including the principal markets which we operate in," said Mr. Cai Liang Shou, Chairman Boyuan Construction Group. "Hainan Island, in particular, is currently marked by strong demand for both hotel and residential projects given its emergence as a major tourist and vacation destination, especially among China's growing middle class."
The residential project, which will consist of a number of buildings, is expected to be completed in the second quarter of calendar 2012.
Hainan Island is China's largest special economic zone.
