Bramalea City Centre Wins Big at BOMA Toronto Awards
The shopping centre wins three prestigious awards, including the esteemed Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) Award
BRAMPTON, ON, May 12, 2014 /CNW/ - Bramalea City Centre (BCC) received three prestigious awards at the 16th annual Celebration of Excellence Awards Gala on May 8, 2014. Hosted by the Building Owners and Managers Association of the Greater Toronto Area (BOMA), BCC received The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) Award and the Earth Award within the shopping centre category, as well as the Certificate of Excellence Award. The BOMA Toronto Awards program recognizes excellence in buildings, their management team and individuals and companies that have contributed to the betterment of the Association, the commercial real estate industry and the environment.

BOMA's Earth Awards reward exceptional resource preservation and environmentally sound commercial building management. Awards are presented to buildings that have made significant efforts to address environmental issues.
The Certificate of Excellence Award evaluates properties based on: building management and operations, community impact, tenant relations, energy and environment management, emergency preparedness and business personnel training.
For winning at the local level, BCC will receive an invitation to enter into the BOMA Canada National Awards.
