MONTREAL, April 1 /CNW Telbec/ - Two days before the launch of the iPad in the United States, the BRANCHEZ-VOUS! news portal is the first Canadian media outlet - and one of the first media outlets worldwide - to open a version of its web site specially designed for Apple's new tablet.

Available now at BVipad.com, "BRANCHEZ-VOUS! iPad Edition" presents itself as a continuously updated digital newspaper. Conceived to be read on a vertically positioned screen - in contrast to almost all computer screens -, BRANCHEZ-VOUS! iPad Edition features the most essential news in a simple, clean and perfectly legible interface.

News is organized in five sections: General news, Technology, Business, Culture and Sports. Each article can be read effortlessly on theiPad, either when hand held or placed on a table.
