BRBR to produce video clip for big winner of Francouvertes French-Canadian music competition Français
TORONTO, Feb. 5, 2013 /CNW/ - From February 18 to May 13, 2013, BRBR will be providing special coverage of the preliminary, semi-final, and final rounds of the Francouvertes French-Canadian music contest on the BRBR blog (tfo.org/brbr), the BRBR YouTube channel, and various social networks. BRBR will also shoot and produce a video clip for one of the winners of the final round, on May 13.
As TFO's David Baeta, series producer for BRBR, explains, "Francouvertes is an essential event that showcases Francophone artists who are working in Canada now and will soon be lighting up major stages both in this country and abroad. BRBR sees this partnership as a natural fit, given our own mandate and the passion that we and Francouvertes share for promoting emerging French-Canadian musical talent."
The BRBR team will also be providing special coverage of the semi-finals on its various media platforms on April 15, 16, and 17.
BRBR (c'est BARBAR!), is TFO's Web/TV music franchise, presenting the best of French-Canadian indie music. So it was natural for the BRBR team to partner with this event, which showcases so many talented French-Canadian musical artists. Since June 2012, BRBR has proven itself to be one of the most vibrant Web/TV platforms on the French-Canadian musical scene.
In addition to carving out a place for itself on Instagram, Tumbler, Facebook, and other content platforms, BRBR wants to create unique experiences that help artists and their audiences find each other, such as evening shows where everyone gets together to celebrate good music.
