Breaking the "no experience-no job" cycle -- The Future of Work Summit 2014
TORONTO, May 9, 2014 /CNW/ - According to an Ipsos Reid study commissioned by RBC, 73% of recent college and university graduates identify a lack of job experience as a barrier to finding employment.
Rehana Ciriani and Lauren Friese, will describe the RBC Career Launch Program at the Future of Work Summit 2014 hosted by The Conference Board of Canada. The program is a year-long first career experience aimed at addressing the "no experience-no job" cycle that many young people face upon post-secondary graduation.
This unique paid internship combines practical hands-on business and community experience with learning, mentorship and professional networking opportunities.
The Future of Work Summit 2014: Developing People and Transforming Organizations for the 21st Century is a major two-day Summit that features a combination of keynote speakers, participant dialogue, interactive presentations, and delegate-expert sharing perspectives on how we can better develop the highly skilled talent Canadian businesses urgently require to help create the workplaces of tomorrow.
