Brian Aronovitch and Lindsay Ward join Avison Young's Manitoba brokerage
operations
WINNIPEG, Dec. 8 /CNW/ - Wes Schollenberg, Avison Young Principal and Managing Director of the company's Winnipeg office, announced today that Brian T. Aronovitch and Lindsay Ward have joined Avison Young's brokerage operations in Winnipeg.
Effective immediately, Aronovitch joins Avison Young as Senior Representative and Ward as Senior Executive, Investment Sales. Seasoned professionals in the commercial real estate business, both were formerly with Cushman & Wakefield in Winnipeg.

Aronovitch brings to Avison Young 45 years of experience in the commercial real estate brokerage and management business. His past and current clients include Allmar Distributors Ltd., Loblaw Properties West Inc., Winners Merchants Inc., Waste Management of Canada Corp., Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, Precision Metalcraft Inc. and Wilson Auto Electric (division of BBB Industries LLC).
Aronovitch's professional achievements include: Past President, Better Business Bureau of Winnipeg; Member of the Year Award (1999) for professionalism, Lifetime Achievement Award (2004) and Largest Office Lease Award (2006 & 2008), Winnipeg REALTORS-Commercial Division.

Ward has been active in the Canadian real estate investment and development business for 30 years and has been associated with many of Canada's premier real estate assets. He has spent much of his career as an institutional asset manager and has a deep understanding of buyers and sellers in the capital markets. His background includes senior portfolio management positions with real estate development and institutional investment advisors.
Ward's clients include Ellman Group, Comark Inc., Canadian Pacific Railway, WCB Manitoba and Palliser Furniture, as well as numerous private investors. He will continue to provide clients with seasoned counsel in property acquisitions, sales and portfolio management initiatives. Ward holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in regional planning from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Master of Arts in urban economics from York University.
