Brick Brewing Lowers Pricing on Waterloo Beer for Ontario's Restaurants and Bars
KITCHENER, ON, June 26, 2014 /CNW/ - Brick Brewing Co. Limited ("Brick" or the "Company) (TSX:BRB) announced today, in conjunction with Restaurants Canada - an association representing 30,000 bars, pubs, restaurants and other food service businesses -a drop in the price paid by Ontario restaurant owners for beer. Twenty four pack tall cans of Waterloo are now priced at $49.95, vs the old price of $65 - 30% higher. This means bar and restaurant owners now pay the same as the public does for Brick's Waterloo craft beers.
"Choice and true competition are always positive and we are thrilled to share our Waterloo craft beers - which recently won Gold, Silver and Bronze at the Ontario brewing awards - with even more people at pubs, patios and restaurants across the province" declared George Croft, president and CEO Brick Brewing. "Brick is a local, Canadian-owned brewery and this new relationship with Restaurants Canada represents a great step forward for our company, and for customers looking for more choice when it comes to beer."
