BRITAX Refreshes PARKWAY SG And PARKWAY SGL Belt-Positioning Booster Seats

FORT MILL, S.C., July 29, 2013 /CNW/ - For parents with older children, BRITAX introduces easily portable PARKWAY SG and PARKWAY SGL belt-positioning booster seats. The seats offer premium safety and comfort for children weighing 18.1 to 54.4 kilograms and a standing height of at least 96.5 centimeters, up to 160 centimeters.

The lightweight PARKWAY booster seats feature exclusive Safety You Can See technologies. Featured in plain sight, these safety technologies allow parents to visibly see what keeps their children safe. Additionally, to protect a child's head, these seats include a Base with SafeCell Technology®. The SafeCells are designed to compress in a crash, significantly lowering the center of gravity and minimizing the forward movement of the child.

The PARKWAY SG and PARKWAY SGL also include improved side impact protection. New, deeper side walls lined with energy-absorbing foam and True Side Impact Protection® shield a child while keeping his head, neck and spine aligned. Additionally, SecureGuard prevents a child from sliding under the lap-belt portion of the safety belt during impact and minimizes the risk of abdominal injury.

BRITAX's proprietary ISOFLEX^TM Flexible Lower LATCH Connection System is featured in the PARKWAY SGL seat. The ISOFLEX system secures the booster seat to the vehicle in seconds with only two clicks and a pull. This stabilizes the seat during a crash and prevents it from becoming a projectile when not in use.
