MONTREAL, July 4, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Broccolini unveils L'Avenue, a 50-storey, mixed-use residential development located directly across from the Centre Bell in the heart of downtown Montreal. Slated to be the tallest residential building of the city, L'Avenue, is situated on avenue des Canadiens-de-Montréal, with unparalleled views of Montreal's panorama.
L'Avenue will be one of the most recognizable silhouettes in the Montreal skyline. The residential tower will be composed of three sculpted rectilinear volumes. The podium will allow for potential retail, restaurant and hotel opportunities and will add architectural excitement to the highly animated public realm of Avenue Des Canadiens.
In February 2012, Broccolini, in partnership with Carttera Private Equities, purchased the development site for $14.1M. The total project investment represents approximately $200M.
« Broccolini is proud to invest in this unique residential, mixed-use development. L'Avenue is certain to transform the urban landscape and reflect Montréal's international image: modern and cutting-edge. Bringing new vitality to this sector of the city, we are convinced L'Avenue will become a symbol of Montréal» said M. Anthony Broccolini, Managing Director at Broccolini, who is responsible for the L'Avenue project.
The L'Avenue presentation gallery opens its doors in early Fall 2012 and will showcase a full model suite. The 350 residences of L'AVENUE range from 500 to 1,500 sq. ft. and prices start in the mid $200's.
