Completion of Secondary Offering of Fund Units

TORONTO and GATINEAU, QC, July 6 /CNW Telbec/ - (BRC.UN) - Brookfield Renewable Power Fund (the "Fund") and Brookfield Renewable Power Inc. ("BRPI") today announced that they have completed their previously announced bought-deal secondary offering, with a syndicate of underwriters led by CIBC World Markets Inc. and Scotia Capital Inc., through which BRPI, the selling unitholder, has sold 9,200,000 of its Fund units (including 1,200,000 units sold to the underwriters pursuant to the over-allotment option that was exercised in full) at an offering price of $19.60 per unit.
BRPI now owns approximately 42% of the Fund units on a fully exchanged basis.
The Fund did not receive any proceeds from the offering, the costs of which were borne by BRPI.
