Brother™ Technology offers peace of mind with a new line of colour laser printers and all-in-ones Français
Enhanced mobile device and Cloud connectivity combined with fast print speeds and ultra-reliability help improve workflow and productivity
DOLLARD-DES-ORMEAUX, QC, June 20, 2014 /CNW/ - Brother International Corporation (Canada), a leader in business technology, today launched its new HL-L8000 series colour laser printers and MFC-L8000 colour laser all-in-ones designed to provide the most reliable, mobile-friendly and fast colour printing for small workgroups.
For small and medium business offices (SMB), laser remains the highest ranked technology for its reliability and speed and is still the most trusted among Canadian businesses1. Brother's new printers and multifunction units offer a number of cost-saving features that help keep printing budgets in line, including: availability of high-yield replacement toner cartridges2 to reduce the cost per page, secure function lock to limit accessibility which regulates paper and toner use, and automatic printing, scanning and faxing which decreases paper consumption.
These new colour laser machines help save time and enhance productivity with fast colour and black print speeds of up to 32 ppm. SMB's can also print wirelessly from their smartphones and tablets3 while the colour touchscreen display on the multi-function units makes accessing different services easy and intuitive. The Brother Web Connect interface on both all-in-one models features web connectivity4 which allows businesses to scan materials directly to leading cloud storage services.
Transforming paper to digital with advanced scanning features is typically reserved for standalone scanners, but Brother's impressive and reliable ENERGY STAR®-qualified technology can remove backgrounds for clear scans5, skip blank pages5 and scan ID5 to network and email servers5 like FTP and SharePoint6.
Brother is the Canadian market leader in laser printers7 and the features and reliability of this new line will continue to anchor the company's position. "We're excited to offer this new line of colour laser printers and all-in-ones," said Dwayne Filipchuk, Senior Director, Product Planning and Business Development at Brother Canada. "The robust features and competitive price points will certainly appeal to our valued business customers. With fast print speeds, mobile device printing, flexible paper handling and versatile connectivity options, they're an excellent choice for businesses looking for the reliability only a colour laser machine can provide. Ours provide peace of mind and reliability to allow SMBs to do what they need to do – run their business."
