- Hewescraft to rig with Evinrude E-TEC engines
STURTEVANT, WI, May 27, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - BRP's Evinrude E-TEC engines will now be offered by the aluminum-hull boat manufacturer Hewescraft. Owners of a 16- to 26-foot (4.8- to 7.9-metre) Hewescraft heavy-gauge, all-welded aluminum fishing boat can now experience the unrivaled performance and bold, breakthrough design of the Evinrude E-TEC G2 engine.

The all-new Evinrude E-TEC G2 engine will offer Hewescraft owners with up to 20% more torque, up to 15% better fuel economy and up to 75% fewer reportable emissions than competitive outboards*. In addition, the Evinrude E-TEC G2 engine allows Hewescraft owners the choice of over 400 possible engine color combinations to perfectly match their boat, as well as offering great value backed by one of the industry's best warranties and five years or 500 hours of no dealer-scheduled maintenance.

Hewescraft is based in Colville, Washington. For more than 65 years, Hewescraft has built all-welded aluminum construction fishing boats designed to take on rivers, lakes and ocean seas. The family-owned builder produces nine different models in dozens of configurations for their customers, and they can be found in 34 dealers in the U.S. and Canada. Now, with Evinrude engines on the transom, users can further configure their boat and engine package with the more than 400 color and panel choices of the Evinrude E-TEC G2 line-up.
