BSM Technologies brings on Suresh Periyalwar as Chief Operating Officer

TORONTO, April 23, 2013 /CNW/ - BSM Technologies Inc. ("BSM" or the "Company") (TSX-V: GPS), a leading provider of remote monitoring, fleet management, fleet diagnostics and automated vehicle security systems, today announced Suresh Periyalwar has joined in the capacity of Chief Operating Officer ("COO"). In this new role Mr. Periyalwar will be responsible for all aspects of research, product development and operational execution at BSM.

Mr. Periyalwar has over 30 years of experience in engineering, and over 18 years of experience in management. Mr. Periyalwar served for more than ten years in executive roles at BlackBerry, including Senior Vice President of Handheld Software. Prior to joining Blackberry, Mr. Periyalwar held senior roles at Nortel Networks and Newbridge Networks. Mr. Periyalwar holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Bangalore University in India, and a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Dalhousie University in Canada.
