BSM Technologies Inc. Appoints Chief Commercial Officer

TORONTO, Oct. 1, 2014 /CNW/ - BSM Technologies Inc. ("BSM" or the "Company") (TSX-V: GPS), a leading provider of remote monitoring, fleet management, fleet diagnostics and automated vehicle security systems, today announced the appointment of Stewart Pinos as the Company's new Chief Commercial Officer to further the Company's growth initiatives and operating capabilities.

Stewart's career spans over fifteen years in senior sales and marketing roles in North America and Europe. His career path has allowed him to lead the development and implementation of broad strategic growth and innovation initiatives focused on creating distinct customer value by having a strategic perspective on markets and marketplace opportunities. Most recently, Stewart was the VP of Sales and Marketing at the SCI Group Inc. ("SCI"), a leading Canadian 3PL company. Prior to SCI, Stewart was the VP of Business Development at UPS SCS Canada and was responsible for new business revenue generation and leading the program management function of an existing portfolio of high profiled clients.

Mr. Pinos' appointment remains subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
