BSM Technologies releases new Sentinel and iTrax hardware

TORONTO, Sept. 13, 2012 /CNW/ - BSM Technologies Inc. ("BSM" or the "Company") (TSX-V: GPS), a leading provider of remote monitoring, fleet and asset management, fleet diagnostics and automated vehicle security systems, announced today the release of new hardware modules with increased flexibility and improved customer features.

The SFM 3000 and 7000 are lower cost hardware modules that support BSM's core Sentinel solution. Included with both are enhanced capabilities to capture vehicle data and driver performance metrics as well as event analysis for accident modelling and re-creation. The SFM 3000 is a weather-resistant unit that enables clients to monitor a mixed fleet of both mobile and fixed assets from one unified platform, including everything from generators to mowers to vehicles of all sizes. The SFM 7000 is an advanced platform designed for the telematics needs of large enterprise clients by enabling a high degree of customization and unique data capture.

BSM has also introduced new hardware for its iTrax fixed asset monitoring solutions. Also developed in-house, it allows for continuous monitoring of pressurized gas and liquid tanks in both single tank and full site deployments. The hardware can be customized to meet a customer's specific data capture needs and alerts.
