TORONTO, Sept. 9, 2015 /CNW/ - The BTS Project, an erotic thriller comprising a novel, soundtrack and video, will be distributed to celebrities at the Bask-It Style Gift Lounge at the Toronto International Film Festival, on September 9th.
Produced by D.A.D. Inc., the multiplatform project is based on an adult suspense novel, A Bedtime Story, set in the Montreal mafia underworld. Written by L.C. Moon, the 314 page novel casts light into our innermost dark struggles, human sexuality and runaway fantasy. The story revolves around Laura Spencer, a pretty and introverted young woman who becomes inextricably entangled in the Russian Mafia underworld.
"A Bedtime Story is for book lovers with an appreciation for the darker side and duality of human nature," said author L.C. Moon. "By combining a three-part novel with a soundtrack and video, we've been able to immerse our readers completely into the emotional experience of the book – and offer an environment where they can freely, and safely, explore their most forbidden fantasies."
Moon's sister and musical composer, Lana Chacra, created the accompanying soundtrack along with her husband, D.A.D. Inc. president and lyricist, Camille Azzi. The music for A Bedtime Story was created with a deep understanding of L.C. Moon's dark love story, and the five tracks (three pop songs and two instrumental pieces) included in the EP Album each depict a different emotional aspect of the novel.
The musical voice of the project is talented singer and actress Selena Moreno, a contestant in Seasons 12 and 13 of the hit TV show American Idol. The featured song of the soundtrack, A Bedtime Story, has been made into a video directed by Mike Stryker and Andrew Rozario, both seasoned directors who have made their mark in Hollywood in a number of productions.
"The BTS Project elevates the reading experience to an exciting, multisensory level," said Camille Azzi, founder of D.A.D Inc. " It is for a new breed of readers who want more from a novel."
A Bedtime Story is intended as the first instalment of the BTS Trilogy and is available in paperback at Ben McNally's Book Store (366 Bay St. Toronto) as well as at other retailers in the city and online through Amazon for $13.99. It is available as an eBook for $7.99 via iBooks (for iPads), Amazon (for Kindles), Barnes & Noble (for NOOKs), Kobo, Copia, Gardners Books, Baker & Taylor, eSentral and Scribd. The self-titled soundtrack is available on iTunes, Facebook, Spotify, Amazon, Shazam and CD Baby.
