Building and development industry releases economic impact booklets
GREATER TORONTO, June 28, 2014 /CNW/ - The Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD) has released a series of booklets offering development industry statistics on six regions across the Greater Golden Horseshoe.
These booklets, available in print and digital editions, provide industry professionals, government officials and new-home purchasers essential fact-based material surrounding the economic impact of building and development.
"Building and development is an essential component to the economic strength and prosperity of the GTA," BILD president and CEO Bryan Tuckey said. "From building homes and businesses that people can afford, to creating thousands of jobs in construction and related fields, these booklets will help educate people on the economic impact of our industry."
The material covers industry statistics for the City of Toronto, York Region, Simcoe County, Halton Region, Peel Region and Durham Region.
