Bureau en Gros helps Quebecers making a move this Moving Day with tips, tools and resources Français
LAVAL, QC, May 24, 2018 /CNW/ - In anticipation for Moving Day, Bureau en Gros reminds Quebecers that packing up and moving in can be easier with the right preparation, quality supplies and help from experts, which will ultimately lead to a smooth and successful move.
The company is sharing expert advice on a special Moving Day resource site at BureauEnGros.com/CentreDesDemenagements that includes checklists, tips and other resources related to moving.
"Moving is an adventure, but it can also be a bit of a challenge," says Rudel Caron, Regional Vice-President for Bureau en Gros. "It requires organization, but also encourages dreaming, creativity and teamwork. We're definitely among those who love the challenge and the possibilities that come with moving."
Cleaning and purging is a big part of any move. Bureau en Gros is also making it easier for movers to clean house by collecting items in-store that may be difficult to recycle, including laptops, monitors, digital cameras, pens, ink cartridges, batteries and even baby monitors. Throughout the month of June, Bureau en Gros will station vehicles from its fleet outside of select stores across the province to act as more convenient and visible drop-off points for movers getting rid of old technology.
The complete list of tech products accepted by Bureau en Gros and the list of locations that accept items for recycling are available online at BureauEnGros.com. Since 2011, through various programs and initiatives, Bureau en Gros has helped safely recycle more than 1,600 tonnes of electronics in Quebec, which is equivalent in weight to 267 elephants.
"Our customers want to adopt environmentally-friendly habits in their homes and businesses, and use technology wisely," says Caron. "The wise use of technology includes recycling and proper disposal for environmental and security reasons. We place great care into this area and it's an important part of our commitment to the community and responsible business practices."
Bureau en Gros estimates it offers more than 5,000 products that can be deemed eco-friendly, making for a cleaner move. They include recycled storage boxes, green cleaners, biodegradable packing supplies and more.
