Buskertainment, presented by Panera Bread, brings street performers to Downtown Yonge
Annual holiday busking event entertains weekend holiday shoppers
TORONTO, Nov. 23, 2012 /CNW/ - Holiday shoppers flocking to the busy Downtown Yonge retail district will be entertained this month and next by energetic illusionists, jugglers, mimes and more. From noon to 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, until December 23, 2012, Buskertainment performers will be found at 7 locations throughout the area, entertaining children and adults alike.
Presented by Panera Bread, Buskertainment is part of Winter Magic, an annual festival in the lead-up to the holidays hosted by the Downtown Yonge BIA. All gathered donations will go to Raising the Roof, Canada's only national charity dedicated to funding long-term solutions for the homeless.
