Consumers are invited to get their energy questions answered

TORONTO, June 6, 2016 /CNW/ - The Ontario Energy Board is coming to Timmins to spark a conversation on electricity matters. Consumers and the media are invited to learn more at an upcoming council meeting and Open House Information Session.

What:	The session will inform attendees about:
	-      The role of the OEB and how it advocates for consumers
	-      Consumer Protection rules, consumer rights and responsibilities
	-      The Ontario Electricity Support Program and other low-income support programs
Who:	Representatives from the OEB
When:	Monday, June 6, 6 – 10 p.m., City Council Meeting
	Tuesday, June 7, Open House 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., and
	Public Presentation 4 - 6 p.m., McIntyre Community Centre
