About 200,000 families across Canada – 2,000 in Regina alone – are eligible to receive money under the proposed enhancements to the UCCB, but are at risk of not receiving the benefit unless they apply.
Under the enhanced UCCB, families would receive almost $2,000 per year for each child under 6 and $720 per year for each child aged 6 through 17.
