Bonaventure Expressway (Federal section): REVISION - Partial closure in the direction of downtown Montreal from October 10 to 14 2014
LONGUEUIL, QC, Oct. 9, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) wishes to inform commuters that the downtown Montréal-bound direction of the Bonaventure Expressway will be NOT be completely closed this weekend. However, only one lane will be kept open towards downtown Montréal from Friday, October 10 at 8 p.m. until Tuesday, October 14 at 5 a.m.
JCCBI would like to remind road users that complete closures of one direction of the Bonaventure Expressway will occur during nights and weekends over the next few months. These closures will allow construction crews to continue intensive repair works on the section of the expressway overlooking the Peel Basin.

Bonaventure Expressway
- Champlain Bridge Direction > 2 lanes out of 3 opened
- Champlain Bridge Direction > Exit 4 to A-15 South and North closed
- Downtown Montreal direction > 1 lane out of 3 opened (lane at 3.3 meters)
- Downtown Montreal Direction > Exit 1 to Wellington closed
- Downtown Montreal Direction > access ramp from Chemin des Moulins East
(Ramp J) closed - Downtown Montreal Direction > access ramp from Chemin des Moulins West
(Ramp C) closed - Pierre-Dupuy Avenue between Chemin des Moulins East and West OPEN
One detour road have been set up for commuters going towards downtown Montréal coming from the Champlain Bridge via Exit 2.
Traffic will be heavy and commuters are advised to avoid this sector.
