OTTAWA, Nov. 2 /CNW Telbec/ - Members of the media are invited to attend a press conference on November 10^th in Ottawa concerning the first official recognition of the Transgender Community in Canada.

For the first time, an official organization of the State wishes to emphasize its support for the Transgender Community in its struggle for the right to sexual identity and expression. Enshrined in Bill C-389, official recognition will be the focus of a celebration that will be held on November 20, 2010 at the Ottawa Police headquarters here in the nation's capital.
