New this year: Guest curators join the programming process
To help make sense of the ways the rise of The Many is rewiring the way we learn, work, make, collaborate and communicate, we have also invited futurists and human canaries to participate in curating the talks. New this year, we are introducing these guest curators as part of a decentralized programming process, in keeping with the collaborative nature of this year's theme.
Two of these guest curators are Stowe Boyd, Futurist and Head of Research, Gigaom and Estelle Metayer, Principal, Competia and Adjunct Professor, McGill University. The role of these experts is to work closely with our speakers to help push their talk further in line with our themes and with the rest of the programming. In other words, they will help ensure that our collective minds are blown, no matter our industry.
C2 Montréal: A business conference, only different
Each year, in a collaborative environment specifically designed to provoke collisions and spark new ideas, the C2 Montréal inspires 5,000 decision makers across continents and industries to challenge their biases, shift their perspective and explore completely new ways of doing business. Imagined by Sid Lee in collaboration with founding partner Cirque du Soleil, these three days of talks, workshops, extreme brainstorming sessions, meet ups, performances and festivities have been described as "challenging conventions" by The Economist, and "a business conference unlike any other" by Harvard Business Review.
C2 Montréal will be presenting its 5th edition on May 26, 27 and 28, 2016, at Arsenal art gallery in Montréal, Canada.
