CAA Manitoba and CAA South Central Ontario announce intention to merge
THORNHILL, ON, Jan. 19, 2016 /CNW/ - As leading membership organizations, CAA Manitoba and CAA South Central Ontario (CAA SCO) are proud to announce their formal intention to merge.

CAA SCO's President & CEO, Jay Woo, agreed that the ability to work together to provide a superior member experience is exciting.

CAA Manitoba and CAA SCO remain committed to member safety and offering exceptional member service. The merger of these two organizations will enhance roadside assistance, travel, and insurance services in both Manitoba and Ontario. The two companies will also continue to operate under their current respective brands.
CAA Manitoba and CAA SCO intend that the proposed merger will occur on September 30, 2016, subject to member and regulatory approvals.
For over a hundred years, CAA has been helping Canadians stay mobile, safe and protected. CAA South Central Ontario is one of nine auto clubs across Canada providing roadside assistance, travel, insurance services and member savings for our 2 million members.
