THORNHILL, ON, Dec. 13 /CNW/ - Motorists can expect treacherous driving conditions in London, Sarnia, Chatham, Petrolia and Windsor due to bursts of heavy snow and blowing snow.
CAA South Central Ontario (CAA SCO) continues to service high priority calls - those drivers who are stranded out in the cold weather and snowy conditions - when weather and OPP permit. Keep in mind, tow restrictions are in effect due to a number of road closures.
CAA SCO is asking members to be patient over the next 12 to 24 hours as wait times will be longer than normal. Due to the extremely poor road conditions, members can use alternate services and submit receipts for a refund based on their membership entitlement.
Meanwhile, members who are safe at home and calling for service are being advised that the auto club is responding to stranded drivers first. Your patience will allow our service providers to assist those members requiring the most urgent attention first.
Please also note that unless your road has been plowed, and your vehicle is accessible, our service vehicles will not be able to access you to provide service.
CAA South Central Ontario is a not-for-profit auto club offering insurance, travel, automotive care and roadside services. There are more than 1.8 million CAA members in South Central Ontario and 5 million members in Canada. We're more than Roadside Assistance. We're Life-side Assistance. Visit www.caasco.com.
