HAMILTON, ON, Oct. 12 /CNW/ - CAA members in Hamilton will benefit from improved and expanded roadside services.
Today, CAA South Central Ontario switched to a Preferred-Service-Provider (PSP) model, already successfully used by the auto club in most other Ontario communities. The PSP model will put four additional service vehicles on the road - while, at the same time, being far more cost effective than the current model - and give CAA members 24-hour access to towing and light services.
"We're emergency service providers and our members count on round-the-clock access to all aspects of our roadside program," said Cindy Hillaby, VP Club, CAA SCO. "Using a reliable contractor is the most affordable way of providing high-quality service."
The auto club today discontinued its Hamilton-based fleet operations that employed 11 people.
"We need the new model in place in Hamilton before the winter driving season hits because it is our busiest time of the year," added Hillaby.
Two of our existing PSP contractors will expand their services in Hamilton.
