CAA South Central Ontario Statement
THORNHILL, ON, Jan. 18, 2012 /CNW/ - CAA South Central Ontario (CAA SCO) is terribly saddened to learn about the tragic events that took place January 17, 2012 on Highway 3 and Montgomery Drive in LaSalle, Ontario.
Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Paul Rocheleau with Sandwich West Towing - one of our contractors' tow truck drivers.
CAA SCO considers safety a top priority. We have always, and will continue to demand the highest standards of safety for our employees and independent contractors.
CAA SCO services over 1 million roadside assistance calls a year, almost all of them without incident and to the satisfaction of our members.
We strongly urge drivers to slow down when you see anyone along the side of the highway and move over if it is safe to do so.
