MONTREAL, Sept. 19, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Renowned business leaders will once again perform on stage before a sell-out crowd this Thursday, September 19th at the Mount-Royal Chalet where the third edition of the Cabaret on Mount-Royal in aid of the Quebec Society for Disabled Children will be celebrated.
Presented by the National Bank of Canada, the 2013 edition of the Cabaret on Mount-Royal will feature the Chairman and CEO of FlexGroup, Jean R. Fabi, the President of Tristan stores, Gilles Fortin, BCF's Managing Partner, Mario Charpentier, the President of Quinn Sport Management Group, Tom Quinn, and the President of BFL Canada, Barry Lorenzetti.
The initiator of the Cabaret on Mount-Royal, Jean R. Fabi, brought together members of the business elite within an Organizing Committee that he co-chairs along with Pierre Boivin (Claridge) and Christiane Germain (Groupe Germain). An impressive Honorary Committee comprised of Laurent Beaudoin (Bombardier), Robert Chevrier (Corporate Director), Serge Gouin (Groupe TVA), Maurice Pinsonnault (Angelcare) and Louis Vachon (National Bank) is at the helm of the evening that welcomed 600 guests that were visibly delighted by the quality of the performance offered at each of its first two editions.
Numerous sponsors such as Desjardins Financial Security bear a large portion of the event's expenses. Therefore more than $860,000 was donated so far to the Quebec Society for Disabled Children for the creation of a university centre for the rehabilitation and development of disabled children under 5 years old, for the layout of a unique respite and activity centre for teenagers with special needs living in Montreal, and for a program designed to offer essential services to disabled children throughout Quebec.
