GRANBY, QC, Sept. 27 /CNW Telbec/ - CADENS Imaging won the Jury's Choice in the 2010 Deloitte Technology Fast 50TM Awards, the pre-eminent technology awards program in Canada.
The Jury's Choice award honors a high tech company from Quebec whose work has impressed the jury based on various aspects. "The biotech and healthcare industry is moving and growing fast while being subject to constant governmental politics and reform," explained Robert Nardi, Leader of the Technology, Media & Telecommunications Industry Group, Deloitte Montréal. "The jury was impressed by CADENS Imaging's good understanding of the market, its dynamic entrepreneurship and innovative technology. This award recognizes its potential as a future leader in the Canadian healthcare industry."
"It is the first time CADENS Imaging participates in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50TM Awards and we are very proud to have won the Jury's Choice. It represents a nice recognition of the work of our whole team, R&D, marketing, sales and management all together," said Hugo Douville, President & CEO of CADENS Imaging. "Colorectal cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death but it is 90% curable when detected early, which explains why the governments are setting up screening programs. Our goal at CADENS Imaging is to revolutionize colorectal cancer screening by developing state-of-the-art solutions allowing radiologists to establish a clear diagnosis while being non-invasive, without risk or pain for the patient.
