TORONTO, March 15, 2013 /CNW/ - Caesarstone® Canada, the luxury quartz surface manufacturer, returns to the set of Top Chef Canada as a participating sponsor of the series, which kicks off its third season on Monday, March 18th at 9 PM on Food Network Canada.
This season, contestants will compete to win the title of Top Chef Canada, and a grand prize which includes a $25,000 Caesarstone custom installation. During one of this season's Quickfire Challenges, chefs will prepare their culinary creations on Caesarstone quartz surfaces, which, due to their non-porous and heat-resistant qualities, make them ideal for food preparation. To sweeten the pot, Caesarstone will give away cash prizes to the winners of some of this season's hottest challenges. Caesarstone quartz surfaces can withstand the heat, but which chefs will stay in the kitchen? Tune in to find out!
Viewers will also have a chance to win a grand prize of their own, as the brand officially launches their nationwide Caesarstone Gourmet Getaway contest alongside the season opener. One lucky winner (and guest) will receive round trip airfare to beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, five star hotel accommodations, dinner at Hawksworth Restaurant, culinary training and $500 spending cash.
Caesarstone is also hosting a weekly Watch & Win contest, where viewers will have a chance to win weekly prizes from Le Creuset. Consumers can look for the Top Chef Challenge question every Tuesday at 3PM, on Caesarstone's Twitter and Facebook pages (Twitter at @CaesarstoneCA and Facebook at www.facebook.com/CaesarstoneCanada.)
