Calfrac announces appointment of new directors

CALGARY, May 11 /CNW/ - Calfrac Well Services Ltd. ("Calfrac") (TSX-CFW) is pleased to announce the election at its annual general meeting held earlier today of Kevin R. Baker and Lorne A. Gartner to its board of directors.

Mr. Baker was most recently President and Chief Executive Officer of Century Oilfield Services Inc. since 2005, and brings to the Calfrac board valuable industry experience backed with over 38 years of corporate legal experience. Mr. Gartner is an independent businessman with a strong financial and banking background, who most recently held the position of managing director of Royal Bank of Canada Capital Markets.

Doug Ramsay, Calfrac's President and Chief Executive Officer, commented, "We are very pleased to be adding Kevin and Lorne to our board and expect that their skill sets and experience will serve Calfrac well and complement the strong leadership our board has provided to the company."

Mr. Baker will join Calfrac's Compensation Committee and Corporate Governance Committee. Mr. Gartner will join Calfrac's Audit Committee and Health, Safety & Environment Committee.
