CALGARY'S MEG ENERGY WELCOMES JOHN ROGERS AND JAMEY FITZGIBBON TO ITS TEAM

CALGARY, Sept. 13 /CNW/ - MEG Energy Corp. is very pleased to announce the hiring of John Rogers as Vice-President of Investor Relations. John's previous experience includes 25 years at Suncor Energy, with 18 years in a senior role, heading up its IR department.

Also joining MEG's executive team is Jamey Fitzgibbon. As Vice-President of Special Projects, Jamey brings 24 years of direct oil sands experience to MEG.
