Calling all entrepreneurs for the Small Business Achievement Awards - AIR MILES for Business wants to take your business to the next level Français
TORONTO, Oct. 9, 2014 /CNW/ - With 2015 around the corner, the AIR MILES® Reward Program wants to help Canadian small business owners celebrate their success at the second annual Small Business Achievement Awards, in partnership with PROFIT Magazine. At this yearly event, AIR MILES for Business recognizes outstanding entrepreneurial accomplishments from coast to coast – just one of the many benefits of being a small business owner.
Small business owners can nominate their business for recognition in one of the five following categories: Small Business of the Year, Start-Up of the Year, Innovation of the Year, Social Responsibility and Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
AIR MILES for Business gives small business owners a leg up – and nominating yourself for the Small Business Achievement Awards has its privileges, as winners will receive incredible tools to help drive the success of their business further – specifically, a feature in Canadian Business Magazine, one of Canada's most highly-regarded publications in the industry. In addition to this national exposure, exceptional entrepreneurs will also receive a coveted one-on-one mentorship session with one of the country's top business leaders, 10,000 AIR MILES reward miles and of course, the opportunity to attend the awards ceremony held in Toronto in February, 2015.
Matt Hill's 30-person company, Lawn Troopers, earned him a mentoring session with, Kevin O'Leary last year. As Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Hill gleaned valuable insight from O'Leary stating, "My mentor and I focused on the future growth models for the business, which taught me to always be 10 steps ahead".
