CAMH Foundation Announces Global Non-Profit Leader Deborah Gillis as President & CEO
TORONTO, Feb. 6, 2018 /CNW/ - Tom Milroy, Chair, CAMH Foundation Board of Directors, is pleased to announce the appointment of Deborah Gillis as President & CEO of CAMH Foundation, effective April 3, 2018.

Ms. Gillis is currently President & CEO of Catalyst, a non-profit headquartered in New York with a 55-year legacy of helping to advance and accelerate women in business around the world. As an advisor to global leaders and CEOs, Ms. Gillis is a recognized thought leader on gender equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Prior to her 12 years with Catalyst, she was a consultant and practice leader at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Grant Thornton, both global professional services firms.

Ms. Gillis is a lifelong advocate for change, beginning her career in the public sector where her early work focused on employment equity, anti-racism, and LGBTQI rights. In 2016, she was named as one of Canadian Business magazine's 10 Most Powerful Business People and also received the Foreign Policy Association Medal. In 2017, she was awarded an honorary Doctor of Laws honoris causa from Cape Breton University for her work advocating for women's rights and equality. Ms. Gillis serves on the Board of Governors of St. Francis Xavier University.
