What is it?
An awareness and fundraising day for schools and businesses. Participants donate a toonie and wear their loudest, wildest, wackiest shirts, ties, or other clothing.
When is it?
First Friday of Hearing Awareness Month
May 7, 2010 - or any other day in May that works for your group.
Why do it?
It's easy and fun and helps spread the word that deaf kids talk.
Who is it for?
VOICE for Hearing Impaired Children.
VOICE encourages better understanding of children with hearing loss and teaches children with hearing loss to learn to listen and speak and also provides support to families.
