Canada Goose heats up with its Spring 2012 Capsule Collection
Leading extreme weather outerwear manufacturer introduces seven new pieces that offer function and fashion for milder temperatures
TORONTO, Feb. 13, 2012 /CNW/ - Canada Goose, one of the world's leading manufacturers of extreme weather outerwear, has unveiled a new Spring 2012 Capsule Collection, a limited selection of lightweight apparel designed to keep men and women stylish and warm during the milder spring months.
Known for its heavy duty winter jackets, Canada Goose has evolved in recent years with its Multi-Zone Collection, featuring lightweight down jackets, its HyBridge line of hoodies, jackets and vests, and other offerings geared towards different types of activity and weather protection. The new collection will feature seven pieces: Men's and Ladies Beaconsfield Ultra Lightweight Down Shirts, Richmond Hoodies, Granby Down Vests as well as a Ladies' Summerside Ultra Lightweight Down Skirt.
"The new pieces in the Spring 2012 Capsule collection will provide consumers with the aesthetic and performance they expect from Canada Goose in smart, slim silhouettes that look great alone or for layering in milder temperatures," says Dani Reiss, President and CEO, Canada Goose Inc. "The Collection is an extension of Canada Goose's core product line, and one that is in line with our reputation for high quality, authentic outerwear."
The Capsule Collection, available in Black or White, features high quality trims such as stainless steel or matte black zippers, snaps and tonal signature Canada Goose discs. Made with Ultra Lightweight fabric and Canada Goose's signature Arctic Tech fabric, these styles provide all-weather functionality with durable water repellent finish (DWR) and 100% premium Canadian down insulation. As with all Canada Goose outerwear, the entire Spring 2012 Capsule Collection will be manufactured in Canada.
The Spring 2012 Capsule Collection will begin shipping to select retailers worldwide in March 2012.
