Canada Goose Pops Up At 2016 Sundance Film Festival
Company's First-Ever Pop-Up Showcases New and Classic Styles, Recent Collaborations and Celebrity Favourites
PARK CITY, Utah, Jan. 21, 2016 /CNW/ -- Canada Goose, the world's leading maker of Arctic luxury apparel and a Presenting Sponsor at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival, today opens its first-ever pop-up shop, giving Festival attendees an opportunity to discover the season's new styles and buy directly from the brand known as the (un)official jacket of film crews everywhere it's cold. Located at 577 Main Street in Park City, Utah, the shop will be open during the 10-day Festival, from January 21-31.
As the must-have gear on film sets for over two decades – both off and on camera – the shop features a wide assortment of Canada Goose's iconic styles, celebrity and film crew favorites, and the latest products from its Fall/Winter 2015 Collection for men, women, youth, kids and babies. Additional special merchandise available at the shop includes the Canada Goose x Pendleton® accessories collaboration which features a down-filled blanket and scarf, fur-lined hooded scarf and wool cap, as well as the Canada Goose PBI (Polar Bears International) collection, where proceeds from the sale of every parka, jacket or accessory goes directly to PBI to support scientific research and the preservation of polar bear habitats.
Shoppers will enjoy concierge-level service, including personalized fittings, style advice and free delivery to their home or hotel anywhere in Park City.
Canada Goose is pleased to support filmmakers and for the fourth year has created its official Sundance 2016 jacket – a special-edition Brookvale Jacket exclusively for directors and jury members. New for Fall/Winter 2015, the full Brookvale collection will also be available in store.
Guests are also invited to discover and draw inspiration from the parkas on display, worn by the company's "Goose People": triumphant adventurers who have accomplished incredible feats and made the impossible, possible. As seen in the brand's recently released short film, directed by Paul Haggis and titled "OUT THERE," these parkas showcase Canada Goose's 58-year history of protecting people from working, living and playing in the coldest places on earth.
The 1,100 square foot Canada Goose Pop-Up Shop is located at 577 Main Street in Park City, Utah, open daily from 10:00AM to 7:00PM MST. Canada Goose products are also available at www.CanadaGoose.com and at Authorized Retailers in more than 50 countries.
