Canada Post applauds Task Force report - Detailed analysis reaffirms challenges and the Corporation's response

OTTAWA, Sept. 12, 2016 /CNW/ - We are very pleased with the work of the Independent Task Force and the meaningful discussions it will inspire. Their comprehensive report has reaffirmed the challenges facing the postal system and the path the Corporation was taking to secure its future for Canadians.

We thank the members of the Task Force for their efforts to fully understand the size, the scope and the complexities of the postal system, and its importance to Canadians. In doing so, they have provided thoughtful research and detailed analysis which should be at the forefront of the upcoming national discussion on the future sustainability of Canada Post.
