TORONTO, March 6, 2014 /CNW/ - Big Brother Canada's season two premiere broke the ice in a Canuck-themed HOH competition where Paul Jackson became the first Head of Household. Outside the house, Big Brother Canada revealed that fans will choose the final houseguest by voting at BigBrotherCanada.ca in the season's first #BBCANTWISTOSTWIST.
Unbeknownst to the 14 houseguests inside the Big Brother Canada house, three strangers moved in to a Secret Room with 24/7 live feeds for Canada to watch, judge, and choose one more big, bold, and boisterous personality to enter the house in a twist that will have the houseguests saying, 'Oh, Canada.'
The Secret Room houseguests are:
Allison White: tenacious tomboy from Newfoundland who works as a psychiatric nurse.
Nate Sandri: silver-tongued metal worker from British Columbia with a cool confidence.
Scott Bosse: larger than life gay rights activist from Nova Scotia with a glitzy alter-ego named 'Contessa.'
Fans cast votes by signing up for the new online community at BigBrotherCanada.ca earning points that increase their influence, and ultimately, change the game. Big Brother Canada's current houseguests come face-to-face with the #FINALHG next Thursday, March 13 during the season's second eviction episode.
This season, houseguests are competing for a grand prize of $100,000, a $25,000 gift card from The Brick, and a $10,000 trip of a lifetime courtesy of Twistos. The first live eviction airs tonight at 9pm ET/PT on Slice™ followed by the first-ever Big Brother Canada Side Show.
Big Brother Canada airs three nights a week on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays at 9pm ET/PT on Slice™. The Big Brother Canada Side Show airs Thursdays at 10pm ET/PT. Big Brother Canada After Dark airs seven days a week from 2am - 5am ET/11pm - 2am PT.
