OTTAWA, May 12, 2013 /CNW/ - Canada's Environment Minister, the Honourable Peter Kent, will travel to Europe this week to speak on Canada's environmental achievements and to highlight advancements made in key sectors.
"Canada is working with business and international partners to encourage the development of innovative environmental technologies and sustainable solutions," said Minister Kent. "I look forward to meeting with my European colleagues to exchange knowledge and best practices and to underline our government's commitment to addressing climate change."
Minister Kent will visit and meet with officials and key deciders in the following cities: London, England; Paris, France; Brussels, Belgium and Berlin, Germany. While in Brussels, the Minister will have the opportunity to deliver an address to the Centre for European Policy Studies.
