Canada's Internet leaders to convene in Ottawa for the Canadian Internet Forum
Annual event from the Canadian Internet Registration Authority tackles issues of broadband access and economic growth
OTTAWA, May 26, 2016 /CNW/ - The Canadian Internet Registration Authority has announced details of its annual Canadian Internet Forum, the premier Canadian conference on Internet issues. This year's event will examine the links between broadband Internet, economic growth, and Canada's global competitiveness.

Attendance is free, but pre-registration is required (online here).
A live stream of the event will also be available.
The event will feature panel discussions on:
- Broadband, ICTs and the evolving digital economy
- High speed networks and innovative approaches to broadband delivery
- Broadband access and the skills gap
This event will feature a briefing on key Internet trends and data from both the Conference Board of Canada and Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.
