OTTAWA, July 25, 2016 /CNW/ - Cannabis Canada Association is pleased to announce Canada's Island Garden as the Association's newest member. Canada's Island Garden, based in Charlottetown is Prince Edward Island's first Licensed Producer under Health Canada's Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations.
With the addition of Canada's Island Garden, Cannabis Canada now comprises 17 of the 28 companies that currently hold Health Canada licenses for the production of medical cannabis.

Canada's Island Garden is joining the Association at an important time, as the Government of Canada's Task Force on Marijuana Legalization and Regulation launches its consultation process on the framework for the legalization of consumer access to marijuana."
