Canada's largest energy union to respond to Northern Gateway recommendations
VANCOUVER, Dec. 19, 2013 /CNW/ - Unifor, Canada's largest union in the energy sector will respond to the report and recommendations by the National Energy Board decision on the Northern Gateway Project pipelines. The much-anticipated recommendations to the federal government on the $6.5-billion project are expected later this afternoon.
Unifor represents more than 20,000 energy sector workers, including in the Alberta bitumen sands.
