Canada's Walk of Fame Appoints New CEO, Melanie Berry
TORONTO, April 24, 2014 /CNW/ - The Board of Directors for Canada's Walk of Fame today announced the appointment of Melanie Berry as Chief Executive Officer effective May 5, 2014. Berry joins Canada's Walk of Fame from The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS), where she held the position of President and CEO of CARAS, The JUNO Awards and MusiCounts.
"Melanie is a proven leader and the right person to take Canada's Walk of Fame to the next exciting phase of the organization," said Dan McGrath, Chair, Canada's Walk of Fame Board of Directors, and Chief Operating Officer of Cineplex Entertainment.
