Canada's Wonderland opens its Doors to the Canadian Forces on Canada Day Weekend
VAUGHAN, ON, June 27, 2013 /CNW/ - Canada's Wonderland is pleased to announce a special offer for Canadian Forces personnel beginning on Friday June 28, through to Monday July 1, 2013. As a tribute to the Canadian Forces, all active and retired personnel will receive complimentary admission to the Park which includes full access to the Park's 68 thrilling rides, and a spectacular Canada Day fireworks display.
Canadian Forces personnel will also be able to purchase discounted admission tickets for members of their immediate family at a special Canadian Forces discounted price. Tickets can be purchased online at www.cfappreciation.ca or at the Park. Valid military ID must be presented at the Park to obtain free admission, as well additional discounted tickets for family members.
The fireworks display, designed by industry leaders FX Worx, will feature over 5000 explosions set to an all Canadian soundtrack. The show is included with Park admission and begins at approximately 10pm (weather permitting) on Monday July 1, 2013.
