Two New Rides Take Flight on Opening Day
VAUGHAN, ON, April 28, 2016 /CNW/ - Canada's Wonderland kicks off its 35th birthday celebration this Sunday with two new rides that are guaranteed to thrill guests of all ages.
Skyhawk, a thrill ride for guests looking for big thrills, will allow riders to take control of their own cockpit, showcasing their flying abilities and challenging themselves to engage in multiple inversions at 135 feet (41m) in the air. Flying Eagles will provide thrills for little pilots as they glide 28 feet (8.5m) above the ground while controlling their flight and ride experience.
The parks 35th birthday celebration is more than just exciting new rides. Canada's Wonderland has introduced its most extensive lineup of live shows, special events and street festival entertainment in its history - all included with park admission. From Taste of Italy, to the Ultimate Thrills Circus, to a Brew & BBQ Festival, there's something for everyone.
