VANCOUVER, Feb. 19 /CNW/ - Sidney Crosby's game-winning shootout goal for Team Canada was watched by an incredible 12 million viewers, preliminary overnight data from BBM Canada data confirms. The 3-2 overtime win over Switzerland was watched on average by 6.8 million viewers, with 769,000 viewers on V/CPAC and RDS. Nearly 19 million Canadians tuned in to some part of the game. After Day 7, 96.3% of the population - or 32.27 million Canadians - have engaged with Vancouver 2010 coverage, according to Canada's Olympic Broadcast Media Consortium's CUME index.
