ABOUT THE 62nd ANNUAL CBM AWARDS in MEMORY OF KENNETH R. WILSON
The 62nd annual CBM Awards in memory of Kenneth R. Wilson Awards were produced by the Canadian Business Media Association. We thank our generous sponsors: Brainmetal, Canada Post, Canadian Business Media, CNW Group and Impresa Communications Limited. The 62nd Annual CBM Awards gala was held at the majestic Grand Banking Hall at One King West in Toronto.
New this year, the gala served as a unique professional development opportunity to the industry professionals in attendance. Guests were offered an enhanced perspective of the process it takes to create award-winning editorial content. Throughout the evening, winners in various categories answered questions about their work and how they realized it, to help attendees understand what it takes to create award-winning content in business media. Moreover, feedback from the jury about the award-winning work was shown on screen during the gala. With the goal of sharing this knowledge and as an effort to strengthen the business-to-business publishing community, a webinar and a guide will subsequently be made available at no cost. Canadian Business Media acknowledges the support of the Government of Canada for this project.
