Canadian Business Press and Magazines Canada announce the Nominations for the 58th annual Kenneth R. Wilson Awards Français
TORONTO, May 3, 2012 /CNW/ - Today the Canadian Business Press (CBP) and Magazines Canada announced the 58th annual Kenneth R. Wilson (KRW) Awards nominations, including the three finalists for the prestigious Magazine of the Year.
From more than 600 individual entries nationwide, the KRW Awards' 88 volunteer judges nominated a total of 152 submissions from 57 different Canadian business-to-business publications for awards in 20 written, visual and special categories. The Gold, Silver and Honourable Mention awards will be presented at The Carlu in Toronto on June 7, 2012 at the 58th annual Kenneth R. Wilson Awards gala, presented by CDS Global. Writer Chris Powell garnered the most individual nominations with 5, for his work in Canadian Grocer and Marketing. Art Director Barb Woolley has collected 5 nominations for her design work of Precedent, ROM Magazine and UTSC Commons. Likewise Underline Studio has 5 nominations for its designs of University Affairs and Retail News.
Photographer Daniel Ehrenworth and illustrator Gérard DuBois each won 2 nominations in their respective categories.
In the special category Best Cover the nominees are Alberta Oil, Canadian Grocer, Canadian Underwriter, Fire Fighting in Canada, Foodservice & Hospitality, Marketing, National and University Affairs.
